First-time marathoner reassurance

Your first marathon is allowed to look like your first marathon.

  • First-time marathoners are welcome.
  • Previous marathon experience is not required.
  • No intermediate cutoff point. The race begins at 12:00 midnight, and all runners must finish before breakfast.
  • Medical certificate or fitness clearance is required.
  • Mandatory gear is required; the itemized list will follow.

Travel Guidance

Coming from another province?

Choose the route that gives you enough time to rest before the midnight start.

By bus

Direct to Naga City

Take a direct Naga City bus from PITX, Cubao, or Pasay. Trips usually take 8 to 10 hours and arrive at Bicol Central Station.

By plane

Via Bicol International Airport

Fly to Bicol International Airport in Daraga, Albay, then transfer to a Naga-bound van or bus. The road transfer is about 2.5 hours.
